Mastering Pusher / Milisi Kecoa Split 7″

I’m very pleased to be working on a split 7″ by two Indonesian / Malaysian bands! Check out the great scene in the region.

Pusher

Pusher

“Started out in 2000 in Kuala Pilah. Went hiatus for a couple of years and now we’re back!

1. one who intrudes or pushes himself forward 2. an unlicensed dealer in illegal drugs 3. someone who pushes 4. a sandal attached to the foot by a thong over the toes 5. Four ugly guys in a punk rock band?

Punk RAWK & ROLL with lotsa dirty reggae, filthy jazz and frenetic blues on the side!”

Milsi kecoa

Milisi Kecoa

“Formed in Bandung, Indonesia in 2009. We felt the strong urge to back to our root that had change our life in the first time: hardcore punk.

In english, our name can be translated as “Cockroach Militia”. Why is that? Because cockroach is an interesting insect that have a lot similarity with a global punk community. Like a global punk community, cockroach can be found everywhere in this world. They are everywhere and never be extinct. Cockroach never be domesticated unlike dog or cat. They have no human-master and never play tricks with human. They also become a real psychological threat for many people, like a global punk community. Can you stay calm if a bunch of cockroaches come to your house in a fantastic number? Stomp your feet on one of us, and the rest of the militia will freak you out. “Militia” and “military” isnt the same word. Militia refers to a bunch of people (or cockroach!) that organised and armed themself spontaneously, with a main purpose to defend their life (family, land, source, etc), while military refers to a group of well-trained people, organised but the state to defend state’s interests. Military based its action on the leader’s command, but militia based its action on solidarity. So thats the story behind our name.

Dont worry, we’re not a PC band. We’re just pissed. we’re interest in making friend with everybody and do some projects with other people/band/collective.”

Shaelet Nefotza

Mastering Shaelet Nefotza‘s LP.

שעלת נפוצה or Shaelet Nefotza translates as Common Cough and they are from Israel.

The best way to describe them would be this picture.

Shaelet Nefotza

Until I have some music to post you will have to make do with your curiosity and a video.
