Shrapnel

Mastering Shrapnel “Frenzied State” on Quality Control HQ.

“UKHC. Leeds’ finest sons burst out with a demo that showcased UKHC via Breakdown ’87 with English accents and proceeded to turn many heads. The new record goes down the route of Rest in Pieces, Leeway, Killing Time with the addition of Connor Hehir on second guitar. No doubt pits will be raged and conquered.”

Flemmings

Mastering Flemmings.

Taken from Vortexas:

“Danish old-school pop punkers partially based in London. Flemmings is a trio consisting of Nielsen on guitar and vocals along with two London friends. They deal in a sort of hypermelodic pop punk that hearkens back to the golden days of college rock. I get a distinctly Americanophile vibe quite different from what their South-London origin might suggest (but hey, Yuck hails from London as well and if there ever was a band sounding more American…) They’ve released an extremely affecting self-recorded cassette than be be bought on their bandcamp.”

Sioux Dead Ramones

Mastering The Dead Ramones & The Sioux Split 7″ on 213 Records, Acide Folik, Deaf Death Husky Records, Donnez-Moi Du Feu, No Way Asso, Offside Records, Ratta-Tat-Tat Label.

“Two of the best france bands in a split ep. The Sioux sounds like a raw version of The Observers with female vocals and Dead Ramones sound post punk ala Belgrado”

The Bad Machine

Mastering The Bad Machine “II” on Ghoulhouse Records.

“The Bad Machine started in Feb. of 2010 and is comprised of members from L.A. bands The Switch-Ups, LA DRUGZ, and Can Of Beans. Their folk/rock/indie sound is filled with haunting tones as well as catchy hooks with an ambient feel reminiscent of such acts as My Bloody Valentine, Band of Horses, and Sonic Youth. Songs are influenced by life, death, drug abuse, love and heartbreak. The Bad Machine’s sound is a fresh take on these genre’s and a very promising one.

The Bad Machine hails from San Pedro, CA with a cosmic sound and a stellar style. Combining out of this world guitars, colossal rhythm, phenomenal vocals, and buttery songwriting, the band has been touching butts on the local scene since 1942. The Bad Machine covers a wide range of styles, and is influenced by everyone from Electric Light Orchestra to Wham!. Check out the Bad Machine rocking your local bop hall this summer!”
